Visual Art – Washington, D.C.

As a freshman at Georgetown University, I strive for my artwork to spark discussions similar to those I have in the classroom about the word we live in. I enjoy stringing together multiple works of art to convey one message or theme to the audience. My pieces also regulary reflect the ideas and emotions that pass through my mind from day to day life. Art is an outlet for me to transform my feelings to something physical. When I feel stressed and uptight, I sketch meticulously and with detail. When I feel bubbly and animated, I paint large, colorful pieces. My art not only speaks to my state of mind, but also to ideas of the world around me.
