Bad Ass Glass

Visual Art – Indianapolis

I grew up in Indianapolis, and attended Herron school of Art and Design, changed my major a couple of times, then finally discovered the Photography department. I finished my BFA of Photography at Arizona State University in 2002, and moved back to Indy. Since then I have been working with found objects, collage, and multi-media constructions. I have been working with stained glass since 2008, and was able to practice my early ideas and develop skills in my friend’s stained glass studio. I collected scraps of glass, tools, and findings, and started working on projects at home. A few years ago I converted my basement into a home glass studio, which as it turns out out was a great decision. I have a laboratory for invention at my disposal to work on projects at any odd hours. I continue to work on stained glass, and also develop new product lines, and explore glass as a versatile and challenging art medium. I have now expanded my studio and purchased kilns to cast and fuse glass, including but not limited to jewelry, boxes, panels, wearable art, tiles, lamps, painting, silk screening, and enameling.
