Monnie R. Young, Owner and Operator of BEaUty by Monnie Salon Suite, has been in the beauty industry since 2012 as a certified cosmetologist. Monnie is known for being well versed in many hairstyling techniques for a diverse client base; specializing in various male and female hair textures and skin tones. She prides herself in developing and maintaining close relationships with her clientele. Going beyond the typical professional encounter, Monnie inspires and influences her clients on the importance of self-care and staying true to you. Monnie’s professional experiences and affiliations include Baltimore Fashion Week, styling for a Petite Magnifique Magazine spread, and collaborations with well-known photographers in the DMV(DC/MD/VA).
Not only does Monnie operate as a professional in the beauty industry, but in her spare time she motivates and guides young visionaries and entrepreneurs towards accomplishing goals and being successful. Hosting annual vision board brunches to provide knowledge sharing opportunities, Monnie is a firm believer that anyone can accomplish their goals with the right resources and direction. Her ambition for success is selfless and as she continues on her path, she hopes to not only inspire but be a continuous mentor in one’s evolution.
