I skate, I surf, I snowboard and I wear flowers in my hair.
Mission; Celebrating All Women are Beautiful!
I aim to Liberate as many real women as possible. Helping the journey we have as women in this day & time to feel empowered in their skin, to be nude and comfortable by the end of a shoot, a process my \"models\" (all of my friends 19-40yrs old) receive by taking up the challenge & braving their own fears.
The \'Body\' of work was completed in 12 continuous dawn shoots of local women, at local skateparks GC for the 2015 \"Dont you know I’m Loc’al” Calendar. I joined my friends in completing a self portrait for this series.
My first ever Solo Art Exhibition, Calendar launch and Opening of Photographene in Decemeber at The Dust Temple all came about in an explosive 2.5weeks, not enough time to sleep, however, a successful move in my normal wedding and portraiture photography that I only dreamed to go beyond.
I refuse to airbrush, we do not need airbrushing!
My Fire: I have 2 growing daughters in this society that has constructed a distorted view on beauty.
My Work shows we can be completely naked and more tasteful & true raw beauty than the tacky billboards and exploitation that is seen everywhere. I want to be a part of bringing it back to authentic beauty.
