Photography – Kansas City
I have a long relationship with photography. As a child I would play in our basement where my father had a homemade darkroom. I grew up around bottles of developer, boxes of photo paper and darkroom equipment. At 16, I’d developed a strong enough curiosity that I began shooting my own photos with my father’s old 35mm camera. I found that I could see life in a different way once I started viewing it through the lens of that camera. It wasn\'t until a few years ago, while living in NYC, that I picked it up again.
