Ben Tallakson

Hi my name is Ben Tallakson, I am 25 years young and I am an artist. I have an AA degree in fine and performing arts along with a BA degree in Art with an emphasis in illustration. I strive to produce work that has a strong message while remaining visually captivating. My goal with the images I produce is to get the mind thinking, really thinking about the positives and negatives in the world we live in. I believe there is a lot we as humans can do to make the world a better place, and I\'d like to do my part. I don\'t believe one image can change the world, but I believe art can get people thinking in a new way they never thought before, which can result in action being taken. When i\'m not drawing with my pencils or coloring with my digital tablet, I love to go out into the world and enjoy it. Life is short but it\'s so sweet and I don\'t want to miss a drop. I live between LA and OC county and am hoping to turn my art into a career. I have shown my work in a few galleries, I have drawn a book cover for \"Feeding a Monster\", along with murals and freelance work. I love art and I love life, and I love to live an artists life. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I do making it.
