Photography – Boston

My passion for food photography started in high school when my best friends and I had the opportunity to take a photography class together. That was back in 2006 before smartphones and apps. We had a darkroom back then and only shot in black and white, which didn't make food look as appealing. I've gotta say, processing film wasn't really my thing. However, that class did expose (pun) my love for photography. I graduated from Southern NH University in 2009 with a degree in Baking and Pastry Arts. I was introduced to all different aspects of the culinary and hospitality industry. I have worked many cooking and serving jobs from the time I graduated college until 2016 when I decided to combine my two passions and start Emmi's Images. I shoot with an intent to capture vibrant colors, textures, contrast, and detail in food and drinks.
