Brynna studied abroad in Rome, Italy her junior year. She studied Baroque painting, landscape painting, the Italian language and the Italian culture. While her time there she was able to engulf herself in the history around her, which later on influenced her work greatly. After her trip is when Brynna started working with landscapes and cityscapes almost exclusively Brynna has a tendency to work in monochromatic color choices (that doesn’t mean she doesn’t enjoy a splash of color here and there) her landscapes are what could be considered a contemporary impressionist approach. Brynna’s love for the cityscape and landscape shows through her work. Her obsession with architecture started as a child and has carried out through her early adult years.
