My name is Bimi, short for Olabimi, and I am a Nigerian-American singer/songwriter based in Chicago. Singing is my life's passion. I enjoy entertaining and inspiring people through my music, and I hope I can one day influence the entire world. My genre is predominantly afro-pop and r&b, but i believe good music is good music, no matter what genre. My songs are a product of my life experiences and lessons on top of an infectious, fun-loving beat. I make sure to incorporate my Nigerian culture into my sound any way that I can. I am proud of my heritage as well as my music, and my goal is to bring them together and eventually give the people of world the soundtrack to their lives.
