Mandi Black

Mandi Black began her career in 1999 and became a Licensed Cosmetology / Barber Instructor in 2001. She graduated from Bon Losee Academy in Provo, Utah. Mandi also received her Master Esthetics License in 2001. She worked within the Aveda network for almost 10 years. During that time she dedicated herself to continuing education where she started as an in-salon Color Coach and quickly worked her way to Education Director and then Salon Manager of a prestigious salon and day spa in Sandy, Utah. She opened her own studio salon in 2011 where she is enjoying her freedom to be a truly successful creative professional. Passionate about learning and teaching, Mandi strives to continually grow as a hair professional by receiving continuing education, learning from others, and sharing her knowledge and experience with her apprentice and salon guests. She likes to have an apprentice work and learn side by side with her. Having an apprentice in the salon creates an exciting educational environment. Specialties include all aspects of hair, including: hair color, hair cutting, simple & specialty styling, creative perms, scalp & hair therapy treatments, bridal hair styling, makeup, brow shaping and hair extensions. Specializing in color formulating and application & coordinating a guest’s hair color and haircut with their lifestyle, personality, skin tone and eye color. Mandi has received extensive training and truly loves this industry. She would love nothing more than to make you look and feel amazing!
