Craft – Boston
I am a 24 year old fiber artist from Baltimore, MD based in Boston, MA. My work ranges from embroidery and knitting, from hats and blankets to designs and data-based embroidered maps. I am especially drawn to map-making and enjoy working with data, thinking of new ways to visualize information. I went to Skidmore College and double-majored in Psychology and Art History for my Bachelors degree. I then attended the Maryland Institute College of Art for a Masters of Professional Studies in Information Visualization. Since school, I work at a non-profit and have been doing freelance logo and design work.
