New York Fashion Week is one of the most exciting events of the year. To some, the thought of being able to work backstage seems out of reach. Almost impossible if you don’t know the right people or have the right connections. With the ever growing makeup industry, it feels hard to leave your mark. For the past ten years, key makeup artists James Vincent and Danessa Myricks have given hundreds of opportunities to budding artists to show their skills and artistry on the runway. Many have travelled from all over the world for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
