Music – San Jose

Bridget Marie began singing and writing her own music at an early age. It was a few years later, after winning a radio sponsored singing contest, that she decided to put a band together and sing professionally. She also has had the honor of working and or writing with some of the great musical heavyweights in the industry such as: producer/composer/drummer Narada Michael Walden ( Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Jeff Beck),world renowned bassist-musical director Polo Jones (Whitney Houston, Andrea Bocelli, Zucchero, Eric Clapton, Springsteen, Miles Davis, Sting),the late jazz bassist Herbie Lewis ( McCoy Tyner, Dizzy Gillespie, Herbie Hancock), and producer/engineer James Boblak ( Black Sabbath, Stewart Copeland, Stu Hamm) and toured with renowned Reggae Artist Mikey Dread among others. Her vocal style can range from soft and sultry to a full out gospel inspired performance. A prolific songwriter, her influences include Sade, Mary J Blige and Aretha Franklin. Her current CD release on Skeptical Records, available on iTunes, CDBaby, is an eclectic mix of R&B, Soul, Rock and Romantic Pop that showcases the many facets of her singing talent. Featuring songs rich in strong melodies, honest lyrical content, and unmatched background vocal harmonies, this collection is sure to resonate with anyone with a pulse. Bridget Marie may be one of the best undiscovered singer-songwriter talents on the planet. And though many have seen her beautiful exterior, it is not until one hears her soulful voice that her complete, vulnerable beauty is revealed.
