In the rubble of chaos there are deep rooted experiences waiting to be told and screaming to be listened to. An abandoned building whispers past traumas and ideations into the minds of survivors, reminding us of our strengths and weaknesses. Trauma may leave a person feeling trapped within a black room with glass enclosing around them, while lying on the stains of memories that live as nightmares. Brooke speaks upon these trials and tribulations of life in her artwork and photography, in hopes to help validate survivor’s voices and experiences. You are valid.
