Performing Art – Raleigh
Hausson Byrd is a student, author, and spoken word artist residing in Greensboro. He attends North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University as a Senior Multimedia Journalism major. He also performs poetry, hosts events, and facilitates workshops all across the state. In May, 2018, he self published his first collection of poems, and is currently working on a second book. He is also the president of a newly formed poetry club on his campus, and focuses on putting his peers in the best possible position to succeed. His main goal is to make sure that every time you give him your attention, he makes it worth the time. He believes that everyone has a purpose, an untapped potential for greatness, waiting to be realized.
