After two internationally popular and Official Mixtape Awards-nominated mixtapes in 2010 and 2011, and Solstice, her 2013 debut album on iTunes, Camille Kaye is ready to break the silence in 2015. “Rewind,” released January 2015 is an unplugged track for fans and people around the world in turmoil, but is apparently not indicative of her fierce new direction. All new producers, all new music and an all-new, but sweetly familiar sound will take an immensely talented artiste into unchartered territory. Jamaican-born and raised singer, songwriter, dancer and choreographer, Camille Kaye currently lives in Miami, Fl, where she has been experimenting with different styles of music. In an interview she states,
“I’ve been growing so much by exposing myself to different genres and points of view; just diving into the music-making process, not limiting myself to any one genre in particular. I’m literally getting all types of music from producers locally and back home and if it feels good I get in and do my part: lyrics and melody. Just an immersion and fusion of my own culture and style with ones outside what I’ve already done so far…”
