Carissa Zrimsek

Carissa Zrimsek received her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from the Ohio State University in May of 2018. Having lived all around the country throughout her life, Zrimsek uses her nomadic lifestyle to create works about individualism, the impacts of non-stationary living on the mind, and the universal truths and experiences shared by communities of people across the globe. During her time at the Ohio State University, Zrimsek received the Charles Massey and Ola Belle Massey Printmaking Endowment fund three times as well as an Undergraduate Research Scholarship to pursue a connection between printmaking and glassmaking. Since graduation she has had her work “Fingertips” exhibited in Wisconsin as part of the BlackWhiteMetallic exhibition at the artlessBastard Gallery.
