Photography – Denver

Caroline Pugh is an artist, photographer, screenwriter and filmmaker. After her essay on the relationship between spirituality & graffiti won her college’s main writing competition, Caroline was hooked on documenting street culture. Her main goal with her photography is to find beauty in seemingly burdensome aspects of life such as dumpsters and old buildings- an effort recognized when her photo of a building overrun by graffiti won first place in the “Places” category during the IFC's 2010 Independent Spirit Photography Contest. When not with her camera, Caroline also loves to draw using mainly oil pastels. Her main collection is a compilation of over 60 abstract faces that have popped into her imagination.
