Visual Art – Baltimore

Born in Palo Alto, California and raised in Omaha, NE, I come from a background where we stand proudly in our culture as African-Americans. I find a great amount of passion in expressing my culture and freelancing through photography, ceramics, painting and drawing. Throughout my passion for the visual arts, I shine a light on love, education, the beauty in nature, landscape, and how I can better my community while using a variety of mediums. My 4th-grade art teacher once advised me, “You can’t mess up in art, you just have to find a way to fix it.” I took her advice and not only applied it to my art but my life too. That inspirational message is what guided me to not just fulfill my aspirations as an artist, but to use my talent to enlighten our future leaders. While earning my Bachelor of Fine Arts at Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD (2014-18), I began my journey as an inspiring educator and continue that to this day. I remain proud of who I am, where I come from, and what I’ve accomplished in life so far. With every artwork, I hope to unveil a touch of Chae to the consumer. Thank you!
