Visual Art – Columbus

I fell in love with art as a child and began painting at age 12. Soon after that I became interested in photography and eventually worked as professional photographer for about ten years. After a while I started to feel stifled creatively and I felt the call of canvas and paint once again so I quit my photo business and began painting seriously two years ago. I'm most comfortable painting abstract expressionism and consider myself an intuitive painter. My paintings reflect my memories, travels, and feelings. On canvas (and sometimes paper) is where I feel I can be the most honest; my work is about esoteric self exploration, inner and outer struggles, both with identity and how I feel about the world and events around me.
