CHRISSIE HALL is a director/photographer specialising in fashion, portraiture, advertising, food and social documentary. She strives to invoke and capture the enigmatic and daring element of her subjects amid surreal environments. Her art emphasises the bond between how individuals and their surroundings can influence one another to produce bold, startling and breath-taking results. Hall complete a BA in Media Arts/ Contemporary Arts at Melbourne Deakin University. Having assisted world-renowned photographers, Spencer Tunick, Rankin, Diana Scheunemann and being mentored by Tracey Moffatt (for her first book), Hall’s extensive folio of photographic work questions what is deemed as the norm, bridging the gap between the familiar and the ‘other’. Hall\'s work has been published in magazines such as VICE, Cherrie, Hell Yeah, Culture, Razor Red Hong Kong, Salon Business UK, Face on UK, The Australian, Time Out, Yen, One Seed South Africa, 3D World, NEU HQ UK, Campaign Brief, Trouble, and Capture magazine. Hall has curated and exhibited in over 20 group exhibitions working with paint, photography and film both locally and internationally. Hall has shot for clients such as Illasmasque Makeup UK, SBS Independent TV, Madame Tussauds UK, Australian National Museum, Bachhara, SheverDushka, Miss Teen Queen UK, Miss England, Australian Rosemont Fashion week, Eclipse hairdressing UK, Milla, Stiegler, Kobe Husk, Sea Shepherd and Sheer Cover. Currently Hall is the creative director for XRay Doll with Wassim Bazzi. Xray Doll is a creative production agency specialising in art based fashion films, music clips and photography for adverting campaigns and exhibitions worldwide
