Visual Art – Denver
A native of Northern Virginia, my path has finally led me to the beautiful city of Denver after a series of questionable decisions in my youth. I pride myself on being individual and authentic in all aspects of my life and find that art has a therapeutic quality which carries me through trying times. Sharing my work with others allows me to connect with those that have experienced similar trials. I love expressing my emotions through abstract art, experimenting with vivid colors in a variety of mediums, and capturing the beauty around me with my camera. Upon my arrival in Denver, I found myself broke and bored, staring at the blank walls of my apartment and wondering what to do. I began covering the bare walls of my new home with vibrant expressions of my turbulent thoughts and feelings. When all the walls had been covered, I began to give pieces to my friends and family, sharing with them the beauty that came from my true nature. My mother eventually suggested that I sell my work to a wider audience and that’s when my adolescent vision finally stood up and cried out its name for everyone to hear. ClaireVoyant Design began in 2012, a market for my paintings and a wide variety of home décor, ensuring that every one of my fellow travelers could fill up their own blank walls with color. It’s surreal to think about how far I have come from that empty apartment. Since starting my own business, I have been featured in local galleries and my work is now reproduced for KessInHouse to use on their products. I continue to seek new ventures; new canvases to fill and I can’t wait to see where each new path will take me.
