Music – Canberra

I was born and grew up in Canberra, Australia. When I was 11 I had my first powerful experience with music and developed an obsession with hip hop from all time periods. This was also the start of what now is a 6 yearlong relationship with beat box that formed my first creative outlet. Following this I underwent a sonic evolution that consisted of blues, soul, jazz and classical. During that period I sang and did vocal training whilst being a self taught harmonica player, idolising the likes of Muddy Waters and Howlin Wolf. At the age of 16 I began working with electronic music composition for the first time, producing simplistic sound ideas that were mostly bad but had something different in my eyes non the less. During this time I also began getting interested in scent and the art of perfumery which is now one of my biggest passions. After 5 years of refining I would now define my sound as a sonic kaleidoscope of reality. I believe my sound palette adopts an observational standpoint through the cross pollination of culture, genre and style. Bringing together elements from any part of music history in a whirlpool of eclectic electronic blends. Over the last year I have worked hard to incorporate scent into my live sets, where I create a musical performance and then translate it into its olfactory equivalent. My goals now involve giving audiences a truly unique multi-sensory experience that breaks down the barriers between the art of music and the art of perfume.
