CLEONIE, a nostalgic yet modern beachwear label by Sydney designer Kitty Scott. Inspired by long summer days at the beach side and referencing a retro era for her first collection, Kitty is one of the most exciting young designers these tides have seen.
Kitty Scott graduated from RMIT University, Melbourne in 2010 with a Bachelor of Fashion Design. Kitty was later awarded the Handbury Scholarship Wool Award in 2011, with the coveted opportunity to work abroad in Milan, Italy. Since returning to her hometown of Sydney, Kitty has immersed herself into swimwear institutions of high end brands before realising the dream of her own label.
Designed and manufactured in Australia, CLEONIE is a collection of handmade beachwear pieces constructed with the finest lycras, silks, cottons and linens. The prints have been lovingly hand-drawn by Kitty herself, while the designs are crafted with a modern aesthetic at the forefront. Designing pieces for men and women, Kitty’s dream is that others can enjoy precious summer moments, whilst in stunning fabrics, colours and prints.
