I studied and earned my BFA in 2006 at the Ontario College of Art and Design. I am presently pursuing my MFA at the Savannah College of Art and Design in GA, USA. My Photographs have been featured in Revolutionizing Cultural Identity: Photography and the changing face of immigration at Oakland University in Detroit, MI and Pier 21 in Halifax, NS. At the Famu in Prague,Czech Republic, Rockstone& Bootheel: Contemporary West Indian Art at REAL Artways in Hartford, CT. Missed-Perceived at the Gladstone Hotel in Toronto,ON which was curated by B.A.N.D founder Karen Carter. Position as Desired at the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto, ON and at the Art Gallery of Windsor in 2017.
In 2019, my photographs were featured in the UK magazine MURZE and at the Glasgow Gallery of Photography in Scotland this past July. In 2020, I will have an extensive year of exhibitions throughout Canada.
Much of my photographic practice revolves around the themes of immigration, issues of marginalization, race and memory. I often will encompass text in my work and use historical photographic applications to create my pieces.
