Corinne Steward

Nationally trained in airbrushing, Brisbane based artist Corinne Steward brings to RAW her explorations in 'edgy artwork’. These explorations reflect Abstract Expressionism (art abstraction) with bold colour and hints of Street and Pop Art influence. Building up layers of materials and textures, she uses an application of acrylic and house paint on canvas with touches of pastel and chalk with a gloss or matte varnish to finish each piece of art. Experimenting with her own artworks, Corinne incorporates ‘colour themes’ to each new piece, ultimately creating a series of works. Each piece is created from a place of intent and vision, however with intuitive and instinctive style an artwork can change course mid-way and the energy and vibe of creation can alter the overall anticipated look by the end result. Corinne has painted personally off and on for years, creating standalone custom designs for friends and family, and looks forward to expanding her audience and sharing this exciting new era and relationship found with her creative life. Her passion comes from working with the idea of inspiring the concept a client needs for the perfect piece of art to weave residential or commercial spaces together.
