I consider the dark room a second home and a necessary component to a strict, chemical lifestyle.
I am fascinated and intrigued by the construction of fear and the experience of the sublime, the concept of being confronted with an imposing force and being overwhelmed by the feelings caused by it.
I am drawn toward images that evoke visceral reactions, specifically by shock or foreboding. That is not to say, however, that I am drawn to images without meaning.
I create images with intent and purpose.
