Christina began her professional training at age 8 with ballet
master Leonid Lubarsky from the Kirov Ballet. She spent many years with him as well as Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, The Pittsburgh Creative and Performing Arts high school (CAPA),The Academy for Arts Science and Technology in Myrtle Beach and various summer intensives such as Chautauqua Ballet and Parsons Dance. Christina has danced with North Atlanta Dance Theatre for multiple seasons , performing soloist roles in ballets such as Giselle , Synergy , and Pirates of the Phantom Waves. She has performed with Pittsburgh Musical Theatre on their production of Cats as Cassandra , The Egyptian Cat, collaborated with Kalavani Dance Company choreographing and performing original works, and has also performed with Ballethnic, Dance Canvas, Room to Move modern dance and City Gate Contemporary Ballet. Christina has been a freelance dancer for the past few years which has allowed for creative freedom and multiple diverse performance opportunities. She has performed with comedian Hannibal Buress for the Atlanta Odd Ball Comedy tour, has done showgirl work, was dancer/model for Bill Hallman designs and has been dancing art in Buckhead Atlanta , Westside culture arts center and Kai Lin art gallery.
Christina, also has a passion for choreography and acting. She choreographed and performed pieces for Sandy Springs Arts Festival ,Pittsburgh's Light Up Night, Continuum Dance Company's Show Love Etc., and North Atlanta Dance Theatre's contemporary shows.She performed leading roles in the feature independent film "The Quiet Arrangement", the short film"One More Kiss" ,and J.Bird Productions music video, "Tethered” and A.C Macdonald band music video “Rid of Me”.Christina has worked with SCC Presents on multiple events as a dancer, choreographer, and performance artist. She also teaches multiple forms of dance including ballet, pointe, jazz, modern, character and contemporary. Christina has been an instructor for The Academy for Arts Science and Technology, Myrtle Beach School of the Performing Arts, Pittsburgh Ballet House, and North Pittsburgh Dance and North Atlanta Dance Academy. She is currently dancing with Room to Move Dance.
