Champagne Sunday

Music – Seattle

At the heart of this powerful duo\'s show is love, both for each other and for their craft. So much so that it spills off the stage into the crowd and saturates the room with energy. Without a real genre to call home, Champagne Sunday has always been accused of a severe “uniqueness” that is based upon both the uniting of the vastly opposing backgrounds of Jared, a 90’s grunge-rock disciple, and Jessi, a pop and musical theater enthusiast. With various instrumentation ranging from acoustic guitar to piano, with trombone, ukulele, harmonica and squeezebox, the band is able to blast a full sound out of just the two performers. The transitions of several supporting band members over the years brought many different influences, forcing the group to remain open to new genres and experiment with several styles. However, because the core of the band remained the same throughout these changes, the “Champagne Sunday sound” remained prevalent within any and all of the avenues the band traveled. Jared and Jessi have currently relocated to the Pacific Northwest to expand their already loyal fan base, and are excited for what the area has to offer.
