Dakota’sMagic is an alt-pop band formed by Lu Garibay and Nino Samanic. Following a few years of collaborating on various projects, and producing a few others, in 2017Nino and Lu decided to create one of their own. The pair met each other in 2013 in Boston, MA while studying at the Berklee College of Music. After leaving the U.S. Nino and Lu met in Germany to continue making music together. Theirs is a blend of acoustic and electronic music influenced by multiple languages, genres and cultures, with a focus on full bodied productions and meaningful lyrics. Dakota’s Magic was born in the living room of a tiny apartment in Plänterwald, Berlin. A year later the band released their first EP titled “N°71”. In June 2019 they released their latest single "Summer" accompanied by the first videoclip of the band.
