Tommy Franklin
Performing Art – Northern Rivers
This crazy cat has been abducting dance floors and creating smiles everywhere he goes since his move to Byron Bay in 2009.
The effect Tommy Franklin has on people is incredible, he makes children stop crying, the straightest of people crack up laughing, dance and most of all makes them extremely happy..
Tommy’s love of dancing has evolved from his childhood thrashing around ruthlessly, to a combination of passionate and full movements that are comparable to many trained dancers.
Initially being recognized on You Tube at the end of 2010, to now hosting music events, starring in music videos, television advertisements and gaining numerous sponsorships, Franklin’s future is looking bright, with everyone grasping for a piece of the ‘Byron Bay Dancing Man’.
Most recently being the star of “I’m free to be me”, a finalist in Australia’s most prestigious short film festival Tropfest, Franklin’s story was watched by a live audience of up to 150,000 people across Australia as well up to one million international live subscribers to Movie Extra.
