Darian Mark

Performing Art – Toronto

Darian Mark is a Toronto based dance artist currently studying at Ryerson University for his Bachelor of Commerce. Darian has trained in Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Acrobatics, Tap, Hip Hop, Ballet and Contemporary, as well as in the aerial arts. He is a proud Stage Associate Member with CDTA (Canadian Dance Teachers Association) having completed the syllabus at the highest level and has completed all of the Acrobatic Arts modules. Performance credits include: PEARL (North American and China Tour), Starwater (Royal Caribbean), The Next Step, CARNE (Cora Kozaris), EXYST & Love Project (Christina Digiuseppe), Limitless (Scott Fordham), Wireless Connections (POV Dance Project/ Amy Adams & Kylie Thompson), Survival (EmiMotion), DABDA (Project DABDA/ Alvin Collantes & Hayley Paone), Fill Up and Get Out (Emma Portner & Jade Whitney), Ascension (Rutherford Movement Exchange/ Stephanie Rutherford), Checkmate (Bridge to Artists/Vlad Novitski & Linda Garneau) TV Land (OTFDance, Mitchell Jackson & Derek Piquette). He has also taught and choreographed around the GTA as well as being an apprentice faculty member with FRESH Dance Intensive. Most recently Darian has just returned from a 2.5 month tour of China with the multimedia production of PEARL, based on the life of Nobel Prize and Pulitzer Winner Pearl S. Buck choreographed by Daniel Ezralow.
