Visual Art – San Diego

I'm a stay at home mom, meaning the time I have to draw is either late at night or very early in the morning. I took a few art classes in high school but I feel that the spark grew after my son was born, that's when I really started to draw. I've been trying to observe details, lighting, as well as reading a lot about anatomy and art skill books, after all knowledge is power. I prefer pencil but I've been trying different mediums watercolor, acrylic, charcoal, pastels simply experimenting and learning as I go. I think its important to learn from others as well and listen to what really great artist have advised you. I've been focusing on horses for the past few months even though I've done different things, but it is what I feel most passionate about. At the end of the day horses and art is my passion.
