Visual Art – Richmond

I have been an artist all my life, and I work primarily in watercolor, ink, oils, pencil, and charcoal. I have always been drawn to contemporary artwork that employs elements of subtle humor and whimsy. I try to apply these characteristics in my own work, which runs a wide and oftentimes provocative spectrum, ranging from childish to realistic and everything in between. My most common themes are space, love, daydreams, birds, and other wildlife. I have previously exhibited two major series of oil paintings: Take the Stairs and "buzz and hum," as well as several watercolors. I also published a children's book called "Total Animals." I am currently working on several upcoming watercolor-based projects, and am available to take commissions as well. I reside in Roanoke, Virginia, and am always interested in more opportunities to showcase my work. Visit me on the web at daydreamdaredevil.com. I can also be found on Society 6, Etsy, Instagram, and Tumblr under the same handle (daydreamdaredevil).
