Hey Guys, I’m Derick Jr. I’m 21 years old & I’m a professional dancer/choreographer. Since the age of 5 I’ve always had a passion for dance. I gained my experience when I first joined a local competitive hip-hop dance team. I was a member for 6 years and had the opportunity to travel to many states competing on a National level. I then had the opportunity to choreograph for the Divas of Olive Branch Majorette Team and appear on multiple episodes of Lifetimes Hit TV show “Bring It”. I co-founded a dance troupe and was able to open up for Mindless Behavior and Keith Sweat. After graduating high school I ventured off and auditioned and made the Dallas Cowboys Rhythm & Blue professional dance crew for the 2018-2019 season. I was able to perform during all home games and select halftime performances. I got the chance to meet many well known choreographers like Amari Marshall who has danced for (Janet Jackson, Beyonce, Missy Elliot, Ciara) and more. After completing my season I then began my journey to become a commercial dancer!
