Visual Art – Miami
Desiraé Ofori is originally from Miami, Florida and is the Artist behind DeKelis Art Studio. Her exposure and love for the arts grew while attending visual and performing art magnet schools. Since childhood Desiraé has always had a sketchbook, journal or random scraps of paper filled with drawings, doodles, and or patterns.
In 2002, Desiraé moved to Lakeland, Florida to pursue a degree and career in the mental health field - yet continued to practice her creative side. In 2018, Desiraé stepped away from the Mental Health and Social Services field to pursue a professional career in art. It was then that she discovered the Acrylic Pour Painting technique and fell in love.
Desiraé loves vibrant, rich colors, geometric shapes, patterns and the soft calming effects of blown paint colors. Desiraé hopes her paintings evoke joy, relaxation and expand your imagination as you interpret her art.
Desiraé is a gallery represented artist with work on display and for purchase at Curated Interiors Florida, in Lakeland, Florida. Desiraé also has several of her artwork held in private collections nationwide and internationally.
