DIVINE is a multi-disciplined performing spirit, descendant of Caribbean waters, and Sophia's Daughter. She is a wordsmith, songbird, and story-teller primarily through stage. DIVINE believes in emotionally intuitive entertainment and the power it imbues in others. Intimacy is in grave shortage. When sharing a space we will always explore, experience, express, or enlighten.
DIVINE credits her ambition and reverence of expression to her Arawak and Caribe ancestors, her mother Maggie Sophia and all of the black women whose existence is a daily replenishment of confidence and gratitude.
DIVINE has performed at The One World Observatory, Newark Arts Festival, Robert Treat Tri-State Ballroom, and specializes in formal events entertainment.
