Diamond Mason is a founding member of FreshInk, San Antonio\'s first and only Youth Slam, and a co-founding member of The Blah Blah Blah Poetry Spot. She has been a member of the PuroSlam National Poetry Slam Team for 4 consecutive years (2012-2015), and has also competed at Brave New Voices as a member of the 2012 Austin TheySpeak Youth Slam team. Diamond has competed in various regional slams such as Texas Grand slam on two occasions (making final stage in 2013), the 2014 Women of the World Poetry slam, and Southwest Shootout (2012-2014). Along with being an After School Programs Director, Diamond facilitates youth writing workshops as a part of Gemini Ink\'s \"Writers In Communities\" program.
