I'm passionate about pastel painting and I hope you enjoy my art! Every artist has a unique process for creating. Mine looks like this: first, the music!!! I love music and enjoy all types so I put on a genre or an artist that moves me at that particular moment. The next step is to select a photo reference (I have thousands of pictures I have taken and want to paint!) and I sketch it out very quickly, just enough to capture the large shapes in the photo. Then the magic begins and I lay down color upon color to build up to a finished painting. When I'm not painting, my favorite past time is traveling and spending time with family and friends. I have been very fortunate in so many areas of my life that I am very motivated to give back to others. 100% of all the proceeds from my paintings go to a variety of charities.
