Extensive traveling throughout the deserts and mountains of the southwest, visiting in other cultures, and now living in the northeast has provided a diversified backdrop for artistic creation. She had a very successful career as an Occupational Therapist for over 40 years until an accident and resulting injury forced her retirement. This provided more time for her to follow her passion designing and making jewelry. Margie also has enjoyed inspiring others to creatively express themselves; she has taught jewelry making classes to children and adults for over 35 years. In addition to designing and making her own jewelry, she also repairs old favorite broken, knotted, beaded, and stone jewelry. Margie is selling her work at numerous jurried craft shows in Connecticut, New York, Massachessuits, and Virginia, the Women Artistʼs Collaborative show, the Spectrum Art Gallery gift shop, The Audubon Greenwich gift shop, and was honored to be a featured artist at the New Britain Museum of American Art. Using a variety of natural materials and her artistic eye, Margie Rosenberg has amazing talent for creating intricate designs that bring out the colors and textures in the stones adding a subtle yet distinct elegance to the pieces. The energetic healing harmony of the stones and other natural materials brings the wearer balance and harmony to body, mind , heart, and spirit.
