Eelise Ndri

Visual Art – Toronto

Eelise Ndri is a bold, forward-thinking and creative illustrator based in Montreal. Her work is witty, funky and always vivaciously colourful while also rich with inspiration from various cultures and modern contemporary styles. Best known for her signature thick white strike across one eye, she says it is representative of drawing through her vision, but always leaves some blank canvas for the viewers' interpretation. Her most notable recent work includes writing and illustrating a book about Adinkra Symbols, Poetic Riddles and in the summer of 2020,  she was one of the select artists to collaborate with the collective group Never Was Average to create the iconic #BlackLivesMatter street mural in Montreal.
