Amin Fernandez

Born in Salcedo, La Republica Dominicana. Raised in the South Bronx. Amin Engelslenin Fernandez believes in breaking stereotypes one word at a time. Although growing up in the poorest congressional district, he graduated from Columbia College (Class of 2011) majoring in Cinema Studies. He is currently pursuing a career as an actor, bodybuilder and spoken word poet. His work reflects his inner city upbringing coupled with a cosmopolitan perspective. He has performed at various institutions and venues throughout NYC.
