Eleonora Pulcini is a young self thought artist born in Rome, Italy which recently moved to Melbourne, Australia to realise her dream. Painting has now become her full time carrier and her artworks are being liked and recognised by audiences from all walks of life. She has always had an innate passion for arts even thought she decided to pursue a scientific education. Her civil engineering studies has influenced the way she interprets the surrounding world: the study of the behaviour of colours, lights and shadows in the world of perspective geometry is the template for all her paintings. Her creations are also about the brave adventure of leaving everything behind, starting a new life on the other side of the world: childish and nostalgic family memories come to life fulfilling vibrant and dreamy landscapes. Her paintings are mostly oil on canvas and her signature work consists of bright, bold colours with a very rich textured palette-knife effect. She also often experiments acrylics and thick impasto technique.
