Visual Art – Toronto

I recently graduated from the University of Michigan with a BFA in art and design. I aim to create work that inspires and excites myself and the world around me while trying to navigate this new chapter of life. As a proud Venezuelan and adoptee, I am passionate about exploring and celebrating my cultural roots and adoption story through the world of illustration and beyond. My time at Michigan taught me that my artistic language is one of fluidity and exploration. Therefore, I do not limit myself to a singular traditional or digital realm amongst the breadth of my artwork. Whether working with paint on canvas, digital tools, or mixed media — I can push the boundaries of my own creative expression and identity through multiple areas of the visual arts.  I encourage my viewers to get lost in the moment and explore the creativity being awoken within themselves when they view my work. My color palette is a playground for the bold and vivacious, where the colors of my pieces establish a sense of life and wonder within the fantasy. I desire my work to bring a sense of inclusivity and belonging, where my palette strives to emulate and embrace the vibrancy of Venezuela’s nature and beauty alongside other Latin cultures.  My work is an ever-evolving testament to the limitless possibilities of creativity, the enduring power of art, stories that evolve, and the ones that are still to be told.
