El Jardin De Hueso

Accessories – Seattle

Over the years I began to collect and amass a large collection of jewelry from artisans all over the world and became increasingly more interested in making the pieces I saw and admired myself. Both my mom and cousin are accomplished metal smiths and I decided I wanted to learn their craft as well. So I are started taking classes as well and became hooked. Most recently I am returning to Seattle from Mompox, Colombia where I had the privilege of studying filigrana, or more commonly filigree with some of the most talented artisans in the world. I am now incorporating that fine work into my more rustic aesthetic, and hope to return to South America for more courses in the fall. Needless to say I have geographical commitment issues.
