Shyia

Born and raised in Edmonton, Shyia Gray has been creating art since they could hold a pencil. Growing up as a dancer, singer, and eventually actor, creativity energy was always around them. Their visual art has been inspired by cartoons, vibrant colours, and the artistic contributions of Black and Hip Hop culture. At age 16, they had taken up the skill of digital, and had an idea to create an art brand under the name E.Y.E.M (and acronym for Embrace Your Eclectic Mind) to share their art and creative ideas with others through the creation of prints, stickers, and streetwear apparel. Now living in Vancouver, Shyia is continuing to share this art with a wider audience, and hopes to inspire others with the pieces they create.
