Fashion – Chicago
It started as a fun thing for me in college. In my Architecture History class we would learn about different types of architecture like Baroque and Arts and Crafts style. I would jokingly say that my design style was Fierce Modernism. Everybody knew what model or project was mine because I always had some bright color, funky shape, or material. I literally put leopard print in one of my models one time, that can tell you how out there my design style was. I would laugh about it in undergrad but then one assignment in Grad school really opened my eyes. We had to do a business plan for our “Firm” and we had to make up a name. I came up with my firm Name ‘Fierce Modern Inc’. After the assignment, I really was motivated to actually use it as my Freelance business name. I already had been doing small jobs on the side for some years. It officially transformed into Fierce Modern Designs (2015) and I made a logo that encompasses what I am all about- Architectural Design| Graphic Design | Fashion Design- I wanted to embrace what I was given, a fierce attitude and a love for all of design. It is a dream come true to finally see my vision come to life.
