Visual Art – Denver

Art is inherited. My Grandmother was a wonderful watercolor artist, my Mom thrived in oils and I have been an artist since I was four years old. Years ago, my Dad returned all of our childhood art to us. Viewing each creation reminded me that even back then, art was my passion. I attended a college for Graphic Design and that’s where my art really took off! I learned the finer points of graphic design, of course, but also learned other skills, like, how to draw portraits and have even drawn portraits of Jerry Garcia, Ella Fitzgerald, Jim Carey and other famous figures, and I really enjoy drawing children, as their faces are so expressive. This school was also where I learned how to use Adobe Photoshop. One day while I was playing around with other filters that I had never used in Photoshop, I found that I could create these wonderfully, colorful, and abstract designs. I was hooked. I love creating these digital designs. Even on my iPhone, I found many really cool design apps and have learned how to create even more meaningful, creative and colorful designs. Art is my soul and I always feel creative. Since I have dabbled in many different mediums in art, I just create whatever is in my heart. My digital designs are meaningful to me. Art is my passion and it brings me great joy and peace. It relaxes me and without my ability to create art, I wouldn\'t be... me. -Teri
