Visual Art – Nashville
I became a creative when I searched the web for a specific image of a black woman to use for a blog, and couldn't find anything that spoke to me. I figured why not just create something? I would take time each day to teach myself techniques, so that my sketching would get better. A year later, I currently enjoy sketching a range of images depicting black women from empowering ones like black women in careers to ones honoring my roots (hometown, undergraduate university etc.) Now in Dental School, sketching and digital painting is a way for me to escape my daily stresses and explore my creative side.
I'm originally from New Orleans and now currently residing in Nashville.
