Freya List has trained since a young age in many genres of dance. Finding a love of contemporary during her fulltime training she moved overseas so complete an internship at Broadway Dance Center. Having performed all over New York and LA including New York Fashion week, Radio City Rockettes Christmas Special, Tamara Malek ‘Burn’ Music Video, she returned to Melbourne to choreograph and direct her first show ‘half full’, and perform in Kim Adam’s ‘4 Letters’, both produced by Collaboration the Project. Freya has been a performer and choreographer for many of the Melbourne events such as Short and Sweet, Immersed Industry night, Underground and Carnival. Freya was also the assistant director and choreographer for Paul Malek’s ‘Project Y’ Youth Company since 2010 and in 2013 was a choreographer on the Australian Dance feature film ‘UP HERE’. Freya has a strong interest in strengthening the relationship between the music and dance industries, and choregraphed the ‘Right Now’ Music video for Hopium, ‘Oh Loretta’ for Sex on Toast and current’y collaborating with Eliza Hull. She most recently was the choreographer for Eden Swan at Melbourne Spring Fashion Week.
